Hi, I am Alexandra, mom of 2 incredible children and married to my best friend and partner in the faith.
For years, I tried to find happiness and a sense of purpose in all the wrong places.
I consumed endless self-help books, I would study more, analyze my past, find temporary relief in world distractions, try avoidance for temporary relief, attempt to change others in the hope of improving my relationships, only to find myself exhausted, living in my past, not enjoying the present and with no hope for a future. I had so many dreams but no direction to where my next step would be.
I finally realized that if I wanted to find lasting peace, I had to build my life on a solid unshakable foundation. I found Christ and the amazing peace that comes from being fully known and loved unconditionally.
With the help of mentors, I understood God’s will for my life and developed an unwavering relationship with Him. And I am thrilled to share it with you and give back as I was poured into.
Are you ready to finally find peace for your soul? Partner with the Everlasting God and discover your life's purpose, His amazing will for you, and how to walk in His steps. Experience fulfilling relationships and a sense of purpose that surpasses anything you can dream or imagine.
Open your Bible, put in those earbuds, and listen up! God is speaking to you. He is making everything new. Do you perceive it? Let's get started.

110. Finding Peace in Chaos: 5 Prayers to Anchor Your Heart in God's Presence
Have you ever thought: I just need peace now—not tomorrow, not when life finally settles, but right here in the middle of the swirl?
That’s exactly what today’s short but mighty episode of Curious for Christ is about. I’m sharing a personal story of when I felt awkward, invisible, and tempted to hide—but instead of running, I stayed. And God met me in that uncomfortable space with His peace.
That moment inspired me to create The 5-Prayer Toolkit for Peace in Chaos—simple prayers you can use on the spot to steady your heart and become aware of God’s presence right away.
5 Prayers for Peace in the Middle of Chaos:
1. Pray for a heart anchored in God, not outcomes.
“Lord, help me want You more than I want a certain life. Anchor my heart in You so my peace isn’t tied to what I have or don’t have.”
“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.” —Isaiah 26:3
2. Pray to welcome the unknown as a place to grow.
“Father, teach me to see the unknown not as a threat, but as a place where You and I walk closely together. Train my eyes to look for Your hand in the unfamiliar.”
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” —Proverbs 3:5–6
3. Pray for courage to stay in the uncomfortable until you see His work.
“Holy Spirit, give me the courage to stay in rooms that stretch me. Help me see opportunities to connect, bless, and grow instead of looking for the fastest escape.”
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” —Joshua 1:9
4. Pray to guard against spiritual complacency when blessings come.
“God, when You do give me the desires of my heart, don’t let my heart wander from You. Teach me to steward blessings in a way that keeps me close to You.”
“Be careful that you do not forget the Lord your God… Otherwise, when you eat and are satisfied, when you build fine houses and settle down… then your heart will become proud and you will forget the Lord your God.” —Deuteronomy 8:11–14
5. Pray to be faithful in small, unseen steps.
“Lord, help me be faithful today—in the ordinary, the awkward, and the overlooked—because I know that’s where You build my character and prepare me for more.”
“Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much.” —Luke 16:10
Closing Encouragement
Friend, peace doesn’t just arrive when everything falls into place. The truth is, there will always be new levels of growth, and faith will always be required to walk this journey. Instead of running, let’s choose to stay, trust, and invite God in.
Remember: God’s presence isn’t waiting at the finish line—He’s here with you now.
“The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace.” —Psalm 29:11

Welcome back to Curious for Christ. The place where we get honest about following Jesus in the messy middle. When life feels uncertain, prayers feel unanswered, and you're not sure what's next. That is me. Now, today's episode is for you. If you've ever thought, I just need peace now, not tomorrow, not when things finally settle, but right here in the middle of this world, I want to share a moment when I felt. Awkward, invisible and tempted to hide, but instead of running, I stayed and God met me here. That experience inspired me to create the five prayer toolkit for peace in the middle of chaos. Simple prayers you can use any time to study your heart and become aware of God's presence right away. Not long ago, I went to a school, a convocation ceremony with a coffee mingle beforehand, and for me, mingling can feel well uncomfortable. I walked in feeling underdressed out of place and very invisible and everything in me wanted to leave to go to my car and wait for the ceremony to start, but something in me said, stay. Just see what God will do. And here's what happened. I ended up having a great conversation with the director of admissions about a possible opening for my son, met a mom from Bolivia who introduced me to other new moms, and even connected an isolated parent with someone whose kids were in the same grade. By the end, I was encouraged, connected, and even God to be an encourager for someone else. I realized that this is what it means to step into the uncomfortable with God instead of running from it. It's in that place that true peace begins to grow because God is there and where he is. His peace follows. In that moment, God reminded me of a deeper truth. There are two things that I wanna share. Part of me still wants the finish line life, meaning I feel like I'm always waiting for where my podcast is thriving. My business is strong and I don't need to depend on God as much. And then the other thing that I realize is that true life and a full life is found in him alone dependence. Is not a burden. It's the very lifeline to his power, peace, and purpose. Just as John 15 verse five says, I am the vine, you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit Apart from me, you can do nothing. And that's why I put together these five short prayers. They're not long or complicated, but they're anchors that have helped me, and I hope that they will be also anchors for your heart when everything feels shaky. So, let's go Welcome to Curious for Christ. Do you ever find yourself lying, awake at night wondering about God's plan for your life? Maybe you wake up with big dreams, but feel unsure where to start or what your next step should be. If you're curious about exploring your faith and finding purpose, then you've come to the right place. Hi, I'm Alexandra. I too felt lost and sure of the direction my life was taking. I yearned to understand my purpose and have someone guide me, but I kept telling myself I was too busy. The timing wasn't right, and my lack of clarity prevented me from being consistent until I found Christ. He brought peace into my life and revealed the way to find purpose by anchoring myself. In him. In this podcast, we'll journey together exploring the Bible to gain a deeper understanding of him and cultivate your own personal relationship with Christ. So open up your Bible, put in those earbuds and listen up because God is speaking to you. He's making everything new and you don't wanna miss it. Let's get started. prayer number one. Pray for our heart anchored in God, not outcomes. Such as, Lord, help me want you more than I want a certain life or a certain outcome or the result of something. Anchor my heart in you so my peace isn't tied to what I have or don't have. Pray number two, pray to welcome the unknown as a place to grow. And it would go like this. Father, teach me to see the unknown, not as a threat, but as a place where you and I can walk closely together. Train my eyes to look for your hand in the unfamiliar prayer. Number three, pray for courage to stay in the uncomfortable until you see his work. And it would be Holy Spirit, give me the courage to stay in rooms that stretch me, help me see opportunities to connect, to bless and grow instead of looking for the fastest escape. Number four, pray to God against spiritual complacency. When blessings come God, when you do, give me the desires of my heart. Don't let my heart wander from you. Teach me to steward blessings in a way that keeps me close to you. Number five, pray to be faithful in small unseen steps. Lord, help me be faithful today in the ordinary, the awkward, and the overlooked, because I know that's where you build my character and prepare me for more. So here are the five prayers again. Pray for heart, anchored in God, not outcomes. Pray to welcome the unknown as a place to grow. Pray for the courage to stay in the uncomfortable until you see his work. Pray to guard against virtual complacency when blessings come. And last but not least, pray to be faithful in small unseen steps. And then my friend, see how God works in your life. So this is it for today, friend, I hope this encouraged you and that it gives you words to speak to God. When fear, uncertainty, or discouragement tries to paralyze you, maybe you felt like God is distant or you are simply uncomfortable facing a hard situation. You're discouraged. And I want you to know these prayers have helped me see him more clearly, and every time I did, I found instant peace. So peace Doesn't just arrive when everything falls into place. The truth is. There will always be new levels of growth and faith will always be required to walk this journey. So let's build resilience and learn to live with the tension of not knowing instead of running, let's choose to stay, trust and invite God in. These five prayers are your toolkit. Keep them in your phone notes in your Bible or on a card in your bag.
